Hi

I have used Fibre Glass since day one but it has took a bit of a back seat since my Gel training and I havent used it much.

I done a NNO last night, just like this

Layer of resin- Activate
Layer of Fibre Glass
Resin- Activate
Resin- Activate
Resin- Activate

The problem was that the edges of the fibre glass, by the side walls, was actually lifting thus creating a big step. It sort of curled up and then on some nails it created a gap??

This is what happened on some of mine the last time I did them. On the ones with this problem I had accidently applied too much resin causing it to flood the walls and sort of flake off. On a couple i had either cut the fabric too big or positioned it too close to the cuticle/wall. On the last resin I just let this sit and didn't activate,

Go to the tutorials and look under preparation. Application of Generic fibreglass and silk is on the 2nd page. Try reading this as it will take you through step by step.
