Finding a job!!

Hi all

How did everyone else go about finding a beauty job? I finished my training a few years ago and since then have done a few little bits that have come up but not a proper job.

Starting to feel really disheartened and thinking that maybe i should give up and make the most of my part time job (not beauty related). I love doing beauty but am scared that im going to forget all my training!

Hi! im also new to the beauty world!! and i havent found a job yet!! but dont give up if its something you truly love doing!! why dont you make up some business cards and hand them out to friends that way you can have your own little business and do it part time!! whilst you keep looking!!
you can get 250 free buisness cards off of vistaprint.co.uk but you do have to pay for postage.

Unfortunately colleges are churning therapists like never before, and don't explain to students how difficult it can be to get a job in this industry, especially a well paid employed one. It's perserverance really, and if you are worried about losing your skills, simply practice on friends & family until you get a job.
