Hi

I have my first ever fake bake spray tan to do today and Im not very confident. Can anyone give me hints on ideas on how to do it?

thanks

there are a few things to maybe watch for

  • use protection on the feet to prevent staining
  • use a cap or cover for the clients hair especially when the client has blonde or bleeched hair
  • make sure you test your machines spray patten beforehand
  • dont get to close to your client as this may cause runs in the tan
  • dont tell her its your first tan
  • act confident
  • give them tan aftercare
  • try and get them booked in again
  • make sure you tell them how to prolong/maintain her tan and how to scrub away when it starts to break down
  • make sure you are in a well ventalated area
cant think of anythink eles
other than you will be fine
**** luck:D

why not get trained? might put the nerves at ease a little bit!

Hi,
Look into some training, mine was with NSI, using the Sun Lab products, well worth it, as you feel confident after you have had a training day, also you have to check are you insured with no training? I love doing spray tanning, always try to get them to re book, offer a discount if they have it done in a week, I have clients who come in every week for their top up tans. Enjoy what ever you do, best of luck, don't be nervous. Lotsa luv x:hug::hug:

also, grab your pals and offer them freebies or cut price tans for a while, you'll soon feel confident! good luck! oh and if it's your boss forcing you to do it knowing you've not been trained then shame on them!
