First French gel with Dashing Diva, any tips?

Hey everyone. I have a french gel polish booked in tomorrow, I've only done one french in the last year as I've managed to talk my way out of them as I hate them! So I bought a dashing diva kit and I've just tested it on myself in preperation and it looks much better than I could paint but as I'm brand new to them I'm just hoping anyone with any experience can give me advice? Does the base go over the tip or under and if its under do you wipe the inhibition layer? Xx

I use them with shellac so here's my step by step
- file nails
- cuticle away
- rinse with water
- scrub fresh
- apply dashing diva (I use the nsi glue that I use for tips as I've heard the dashing diva glue is rubbish)
- file to a nice shape
- apply base coat right over the natural nails and dd tip and cure for 10 secs
- apply clearly pink of zillionaire or whatever the client wants (2 coats each curing for 2 mins)
- apply top coat and then disperse
