This is my first real attempt at acrylics. Im doing NVQ level 3 at college. It took me about 3 hours and a bit. I have been reading nail class by Gigi and I have done my best but still cant help wondering how I stop Egyptian hat like looking nails especially on squoval and square nails. I'm using all NSI. Im doing gels on someone soon so just wanted ideas and i will take closer pictures next time. The above is tips btw. Thanks

Hello

Well done on completing your first set of L&P :)

The first thing I noticed was that the smile lines are all different in thickness. Try and keep them all the same depth when creating your smiles.

It is difficult to tell from the pictures but there does not appear to be any apex on some of the nails, this is vital for strength purposes.

There is no overspill onto the cuticles that I can see so well done on that :)
