Hey,

I have poker straight hair that I constantly curl with irons so very damaging and I was thinking of getting curly/wavy extensions fitted to my own hair to give it some body and texture.....has anyone tried this on themselves or a client?

Would it look silly with two different textures?

T.I.A :D x

Hi. That wouldn't really work. The waves/curls would stand out against your straight hair in the same way that straight extensions wouldn't blend well with wavy/curly hair. I've fitted wavy extensions on clients with wavy hair and it looks great. I've also fitted a mix of wavy and straight on a friend (for free, it was all we had and she's a stylist) and she either had to straighten or curl with heat every wash. I wouldn't advise it. X

Thanks for the help I thought it might be like that but I think I was hoping for something to change my flat hair :(

Back to the wands and rollers so ;) x
