I did a young girls feet on friday and when i went to shape her toenails the file kept leaping away from them, the reason was the corners were totally flaky. It wasnt just one either it was all of them, it was like the strength was in the nail but the corners had none what so ever. When i checked it where it flaked it was like minor onycholosis as i was totally seperate from the nail bed. So corner was unattached middle attached and corner not attached either.

Now her mum said that they were like that from when she was born and her fingernails do it but not so badly.

At a few weeks old she was diagnosed with a heart problem could this be the cause?

Anyway some adice would be very helpfula s beign 13 she is really conscious of her skin hair and nails .
