How do you put foil on with out taking off your polish or leaving the foil on to the nail??

You need to allow your polish to dry completely, apply foil adhesive to where you want the foil to go, the adhesive needs to be transparent before putting the foil on, smooth the foil over your nail then peel off, you can put the foil back on the nail if you've missed bits. HTH.
