I received my Footsie Spa on Friday and promptly set it up. The main dial gives the option of heat, vibration or both. Then there is a dial next to it that is numbered. Nothing in the instructions says what this is. I assumed it was a dial to increase the speed of vibtration or the heat level? However, when I have turned it around, it is really loose and does not appear to do anything? Can anyone tell me what it is for and if it should be so loose? Many thanks.

Thats a strange one I cant think what that could be for. Try phoning up company you got it from and ask them, just incase its not meant to be loose

It is the heat dial and mine was fairly loose too. I normally have it pointing straight up (12 o'clock) and then ask clients to tell me if it gets too hot or too cold but that is generally about right for most people.

You need to have your feet in the bath to feel the heat coming through the bottom.

does anyone think the footsie spa is good or worth the money?

I definitely think Footsie Spa is not only worth the money, but the time that it saves (time is money:D) I love the liners, they are so sanitary, and easy. I always make sure to put in the liner and empty the tub and throw away the liner in front of my clients so they see how sanitary the footsie bath is. I can't afford a big fancy spa chair, but I think that the Footsie Bath provides the vibration and heat that just a plain bowl is not able to. Although before I could afford the footsie bath, I used a big beautiful bowl with a mother of pearl pattern that my clients loved also.

Yes I agree that the footsie bath is worth the money, the disposable liners are fab. The button with the numbers if for the heat, like mentioned above I keep it at 12 oclock and yes mines is slack to (i.e. it doesn't click when you change it from number to number). hth.

Thanks all for your replies - much appreciated. Enjoy the sunshine!
