Freelance in New Zealand, same rules?

Hi. So i know all the legal requirements for going freelance in the uk. Would it be the same in new zealand i cant seem to find anything about it on the internet. Any advice?

No regulatory board here. Insurance is not compulsory. Just check with your local regional council regarding any bylaws for health &safety or chemical safety and disposal.
