Gel and glitter

Hi sorry new to all this only registered today.

I currently use sculptured acrylic, and mix with glitter for new designs, glitter tips etc, i am wanting to start doing sculptured gel. does anyone know how you go about mixing the glitter with the gel to get the same effect as acrylic? confused!!!!!!! i dont want to contaminate my gel with glitter and not able to use again.

Any ideas would be great.

Hi there, and welcome to the site :hug:

There are a few ways of mixing glitter with gel

Some get a small pot and mix a batch which then then store ready for use next time

Some mix only a little on the back of a hands down pad/ceramic tile etc just enough for the one set

Others create the smile with the gel then either sprinkle the glitter on or dip the gelled area into the glitter.

I think it is a case of finding which method you prefer.

It is however advisable to use a separate brush for glitters
