Gel over L&P?

I am doing my friends nails today and she needs L&P due to her job.
Anyway my question is, can i sculpt her nails in L&P the overlay with Gel?
My reason for wanting to do this is that I don't have a white powder to do a french but I would like to do a french and only have it in Gels.
Silly I know :lol:

Anyway can I? Will it cause any problems at all?

Hiya .. yes you can just be sure that the L&P surface is 180 (gives the gel something to grip onto).

i have also been told that you can do this and vise versa.i would love to see how they come out as i would be interested in seeing the final result on a real person rather than my nail trainer :lol:. good luck and i hope it all goes well for you.x
