Hi Geeks, Please can someone help me quick! I was recommended to a friend who at the moment has gel nails, but she wants them removed and would like me to do a new set of acrylics. I know nothing about gel, just l&p, and have no idea how to remove them. Ive just read on the site that I can infill gel with l&p, is that right? but I dont know how long she has had the gels on, so dont know what condition they will be in. If they are quite bad, any ideas what I should do???? She'll be here at 6.00 AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Many thanks.

Do you know if they are soak off gels or buff off gels ?

Hi, Thanks so much for the reply, I have no idea what gel she has on, or whether she has tips or overlay, all I know is that she wants a new set of acrylics. Im panicking because I dont know how to remove the gel! What should I do.....thanks for your help!

Here's what I would do,
Assume they are buff off gels, file off most of the product but not all. Yes you should be able to apply acrylic over top of the remaining gel, I've done it a dozen times with no issues, so take a deep breath, and relax, it's not that scary.
