Gelish colour fade

Hi Geeks, i'm desperately trying to master a gelish colour fade, i have already searched on here and found a couple of threads but i've done as they said and I just cant get it.
I'm planning on doing one of the Gelish courses when money allows but i'd just like to be able to do a colour fade without it looking a mess!!!
Can anyone please help me??? I would be so grateful if one of you lovely geeks would let me know a step by step xxxxxx

The classes r excellent way to advance yr techniques. I use a sponge technique to fade. Tricky at first to master but effective once mastered. Save yr pennies and do a class xxx
