Gelish French manicure

Hi beautiful geeks....I'm new here and very excited to be part of the community. It's so difficult doing things alone. I stay in Windhoek, Namibia, Africa and I do Gelish nails the only one. The other nail techs do CND, Bio sculpture, CALgel etcl. There's not much support just competition. Anywho i just want to find out what I'm doing wrong with the Gelish French manicure application it almost always chips at the free edge my other colours when applied don't do this. How can I seal it morr?

The only thing I can think of would be make sure you cap the free edge properly??xx
