Isn't the law changing shortly though so that you do have to be 18 to buy any cigarettes or tobacco products?

You do, I think it is coming in in September, my eldest works a Saturday morning in the local shop and she said for a couple of weeks she wont be able to sell cigs cos she is not 18 til the beginning of October !
