Hi, I would like to do some glitter tips in acrylic proberbly red ones, but I am unsure of the process, I want them really imbedded under a coat of clear acrylic and I'm not sure if I should by a ready mixed glitter acrylic or loose glitter, I have tried you tube but not found the process I'm looking for, can any of you arty bods help pretty please!!

Thank you very much for that, too many talented people though!! I also feel a bit foolish that I didn't look there before I posted, Full moon maybe!!

It must be something I'm doing wrong but I can't see gigis pictures they are just squares with red crosses tried clicking but they won't come up, i know its bound to be me but help!!

For info, Fiona aka naturalnails can supply you and other geeks with a whole range of different pre-mixed glitters known as Nail Graphix. Here's the link for anyone who's interested:

When I do red glitter tips I mix 1 part glitter with 3 parts clear acrylic that will give you a nice solid coverage, so when you do the tip cap in a clear acrylic so that when you shape/buff you dont make the glitter go all silver and loose the colour then when your done use a nice gloss coat, I use Young Nails Finish gel makes em all nice and shiney.
