Does anyone know of any grants available to people starting out in business? (not princes trust because you have to be unemployed or working less than 16 hrs a week and I'm neither)

Has anyone managed to get one? I'm struggling with buying new equipment and stuff! xx

I don't know of any grants, they are very few these days,
but i do know wow are doing a pay as you earn scheme for the spray tanning, lash extensions or waxing,
you pay a deposit,
get your training and kit,
and pay it off in monthly instalments over 18month, hth

I'm a single mum on income support and the only possible help I can find is the Prince's trust and I'm not even sure if they can help :cry: If you are working then I really don't know if there is anything available Good luck though and if you do find anything please let me know!!

I have used one to part pay for my training.
I am a local council tenant and through one of their schemes i applied for an "education grant" it gave me up to £400 towards the cost of a course, and i have put it towards the acrylic nails. if you are a local authority or housing association tennant, you could look into this xxx HTH
