Hi all!
I’m a total hair extension novice, about ten years ago I had glue in wefts and I’ve had plenty of sets of clip ins, but apart from that my only experience is one of my clients who has had a full head of glue bonded extensions for as long as I can remember...
I’m asked a lot if I do extensions and if I recommend them and generally I recommend clip-ins, the Foxy Locks offices are in a town nearby and do colour matching so I recommend a lot of clients there - being in Cornwall, most people want low maintenance glam so generally I’ve always felt this is best.
There’s so many types of extensions and different brands and everything, I was wondering if anyone could help explain to me the pros and cons of each, do they really damage the hair?
Have they been a good addition to a freelance stylists business?
Is it hard to get the hang of?
Orrrrr is it all more hassle than it’s worth and shall I stick to colouring and wedding hair? [emoji23]
