Hair thinning after bonded extensions

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if any of you have had the same problem as me after removal of hair extensions? I had my bonds put in by a local hair extension specialist and they lasted 4 months. I got them professionally removed yesterday but my hair feels a lot thinner than it would have felt previous to the extensions?

I know that I have been used to the thickness off the bonds but should my hair have thinned down that much? I had my hair trimmed today but it still feels awful!

I am qualified in hair extensions myself and have never experienced any of my clients with hair thinning or any damage after removal? That is why I just can't get my head around it!

I don't do bonds, I just do weaves and have a weave myself. I know that when I get mine taken out, my hair always feels thinner even more so on the ends, I always have a good inch or two taken off. Did your hairdresser say anything about the quality of your hair? Like it felt thinner to her, or there was hair loss in places? Maybe try a different method next time? x
