ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1410334942.021132.jpg Just a manikin head, one of my first hair ups at school :) does anyone have any advice about French pin placement? We are told to use them to secure and my teacher just shoves them in anywhere it seems. I asked if there are particular places and ways to place it securely and she just keeps telling me to shove it in (with one hooked end) and it'll be fine? Is this right? It doesn't seem right to me :( but I'm a student so I could be completely wrong.

The way I would do it is to make a line of pins just off centre all hooking into each other going vertically as your secure base. Then back comb the hair and twist the hair over past this line and pin into your base line of pins. Smooth it all out and tuck any little hairs in with the end of your comb and spray. That will be super secure. Ill try and get a photo as I've realised my description doesn't read easily lol x

Just a few I've done recently :)

Feeling quite proud!! I had my 6yo daughter model for me so I could try some flower girl hair, which is totally new to me (I've only been studying part time 4 months, I have no idea if this is even in my course actually!) I would love some feedback good or bad, if someone wouldn't mind :) any hints or tips would be very much appreciated!! X
