I'm getting really into my hair ups, do you all practise on dolls heads to try new techniques out?

Hair up is the worst

I've literally done 4 hair ups in the past two years.

This pic below is the first French twist/pleat I've done in nearly 6 years.

Can anyone recommend a hair up style for someone with very fine hair?

Have you ever tried hair pads for finer hair? I love them, make it look like they've got tonnes of hair.

I always think a low loose updo is best for fine hair as it makes it look like they have thicker hair also as suse82 said hair pads are great and help to hold the style also

Those are all lovely. I've done 1 updo in the time I've been renting chair. Not confident at all. So I've posted on fb asking for few models to come in and sit for me next week. I might do this couple of days to get some practice on real hair. Gets me pics to use too!
