kinda simple this one...
... can anyone recommend a nice thick good quality hairband? terry towel type thing, for use in facials etc.
Mine have gone all crinkly and bobbly looking, not good!
Any comments much appreciated :)

Thanks.

Hi there
Majestic Towels have lovely quality handbands at only £1 each they'll be at excell, they are a bit large for the average head, i washed all of mine and then tossed them in the tumble dryer to shrink them, worked a treat. xxxxxxxx

ah, great.
il check them out.
Thanks for your reply :green:

I stopped using headbands quite some time ago. I find a small hand towel laid beneath their head & then wrapped around & tucked in by the forehead is not only more comfortable but also keeps the whole of their hair covered.

That's a good technique Martin. Perfect especially if they are going out after the treatment.

I would like to have headbands too, for the people that like a scalp massage when the masque is on.

I'm going to have a look at Majestic at the show. They have been given great reviews for all you towelling needs, lol.

With the towel method I use, you can simply untuck the towel from the forehead & lay it flat, thereby exposing the hair.

I get mine from bodycare! They are cheaper than £1. I do replace them quite regularly though. If you only use them for a few treatments then it only costs about 10p a treatment.
I like the idea of the towel though. Whenever i've had a treatment with a band on, my hair is usually sticking straight up and i look like Ken Dodd

When I was at collage we used head bands and turban things which sound similar to the towel idea, they were just towelling triangle things not sure where they were from.

I did actually buy some new headbands last week from majestic as they were only 50p each in the sale and were lilac which matches my beauty room! - maybe they will still have some in the sale!
