Investing nearly £12 million into delivering first-class spa experiences to guests across the UK, Handpicked is seen as one of the UK’s go-to names for wellbeing.

Founded by former city lawyer Julia Hands, the whole portfolio of hotels is composed of 17 country house hotels, seven of which operate spas and health clubs, 37 treatment rooms and two rasuls. The spa hotels include Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa in Kent, Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa in Surrey, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa in Cheshire, New Hall Hotel & Spa in North Birmingham, Wood Hall Hotel & Spa in West Yorkshire, Norton House Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh and L’Horizon Hotel & Spa in Jersey.

Recognising 10 years of spa excellence, Hands said: “Our spa and health clubs are an important part of the Hand Picked experience and the investment to develop and upgrade facilities reflects our commitment to our guests and members. We have trained our spa managers to be business managers. As a result, the day spa breaks and overnight spa breaks part of the business has grown effectively through our internal ecommerce activity and by working with key 3rd parties such as Wahanda and Spa Breaks.”
