Hi All

Newby here. I would really like some advice if poss. I am starting out self employed and considering renting a beauty room above a salon. Its £30 a day, it's in Wembley area. Is this rate ok for greater London?? Does anyone know or have an idea?

Thanks

That sounds cheap to me for a london area but wait and see what the peeps in that area come back with

Hello there

I dont know how much the rates are in the london area, I am in the North West, I rent above a hair salon and I pay £360 a month, now that includes all the electricity, water and heating, it has two lovely treatment rooms and a nice area for a waiting area reception and just round the corner is were i have my nail bar.

so I am paying half of what you will be paying which is really cheap but like I said im in the North West so that is probably why..

All I can advise is that it is a long slog renting as you are always trying to reach your rent and then anything after that is a bonus,,

Have you got a good client base already?? because if you have that is great but if your just starting out, dont think it will happen overnight, you will spend many days not doing anything but as your in London you will probably be different.

good luck,,, let us know how you get on :)

hi were abouts are you based in lancashire as i pay £800 a month for 1 treatment room and nail desk area. mine includes use of facilities receptionist etc. am i paying too much
