Hi everyone, this is my first time doing this.I have nearly finshed my college course VCTC, we have only done 4months of acylics and the dreaded fibre-glass, fibre glass i am relly suck on, i just cant do them, any one got any tips!!!!!!! I love doing nails but i completely lack confidence, i am worried that when i leave college i wont be good enough, well to be honest im not, out of my 5 sets of nails only one set i was pleased with. Just wondering is this a normal feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes Well it is for me. I finish me VTCT acrylics and gels in three weeks and know I need more practice, but I knew this anyway as I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Just keep practicing and you will get your confidence soon.xx

doing nails is it a bit like driving (I think it is anyway)
when you pass your driving test you are a still a learner driver and un-experienced and not very confident it certain situations, you have been
shown the basics and how to do it safely.but experience comes with practice
and it is the same with nails. practice makes perfect. I would concentrate on 1 system at a time until you are happy with it and then master the other ones. maybe even invest in a conversion course with a nail company, you will be suprised how much you will learn.

Keep going hun, we all feel this way when we first start ,its all down to practice practice practice, your get there in the end hun.good luck.x

I think I recall Geeg saying once before (sorry Geeg if I got it wrong) that perfect practrice make perfect. It is very true. If you practice using the correct techniques, then keep at it and build up your confidence step by step.

I agree with michelle g that nails is like learning to drive a car. You pass your test then the real learning begins. College is only the beginning.
