Hello Everyone,

So, I have my exam tomorrow in Acrylic Extensions.

I have been training with Star Nails/United Beauty. My exam consists of a written paper which I have 1 hr for BUT I have to get 100% to pass ! I also have to apply a set of extensions to one hand, I have 1hr 15mins for this.

I am absolutly in a state with nerves, some of you may know from my previous posts that I suffer with panic / anxiety attacks, today has been horrendous, I've even been sick, Im that worried.

I've have gone through my training manual over and over and Im pretty sure Im ok with that. With my extensions Im ok, but my hands shake uncontrolably when under pressure and I've got a horrible feeling Im going to crack and just wont be able to do it.

I have managed to over come some major hurdles the last 5 weeks, this is my final one, for now !

Has anyone got any tips or advice for tomorrow please?

I've sort of got to grips with my bead ratio, just struggling to pick up the right size I need, always end up too small so have to go back over some areas.

Sorry for the long post, and if Im rambling, thats nerves for you.

Any help would be much appreciated:hug:

What course is it that your doing? You in college? That seems REALLY full on.....Im on the NVQ course, and we had 2 hours to complete a full set xxxx

Its a one -to -one course, over 4 weeks, in a salon. Its the Star Nails only Nail Bar that does training.

Its not too bad, it is 1 hr 15 mins to only do one hand, I dont have to do a full set.

Because I have had one-to-one training I feel confident (sort of!) that I can do it.

My head knows I can its just whether the rest of me can put it into practise tomorrow

Just be confident in your abilities and be professional. Get some bach rescue remedy it really helps.

I suffered from panic attacks/anxiety to the point where I would black out, I still get like that sometimes and use the rescue remedy from the health food shop. You should try it.

Good luck and dont be so hard on yourself, if the worst happened and you gave it your best, learn from your mistakes and try again.
