Hi, I am new to this site & have only just managed to find out how to post a new thread! My first attempt about an hour ago was fruitless as I attached it to a thread I was reading on a completely different subect. Even now I am confused as to what I did, anyway, I am finally on the right page and so here is my question............
Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction regarding french polish on fibreglass/silk nail enhancements? I am a qualified nail technician, however, I am currently only offering mans/peds & Bio sculpture enhancements (mainly nno with a few extensions here & there) among my other beauty services, . I trained 9 years ago at a FE College where I learnt how to do silk/fibreglass but only practised commercially for a brief period of time. Hence the reason I am going to need lots of help/support & possibly a good conversion course to get me started again. I am currently reading all the brilliant info on this site & trying to gen up as I best I can. However, I am practising using a mixture of products from my suppliers & am really struggling with the french. I find it virtually impossible to paint it on perfectly with varnish at the end, & was wondering if there was a better way of achieving this? or if not how on earth do you do it & get it precise??? also when I do a silk wrap, it looks great to start with & very natural just in the buff, but then a day or 2 later & I get wragged bits at the free edge, how do you avoid this as I am loosing the wraps much faster than the tips?? Finally (sorry for length of thread) are there any tutorials on infills for silk/fibreglass? been searching but can't find any.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance
Debbie
