Help with ombré

Hi geeks I'm s bit dated when it comes to balyage & ombré & was wondering if some one can help me with my colour choice. My client base 7 wants something like this.. I've attached picture. She's been having loads of highlights & is about a 10 with an inch or 2 growth. I'm wanting to take her to a 7/7 but unsure how to achieve this as colour isn't my strongest! I plan on applying a normal tint regrow with Mabe 7/7 in colour touch with 1.9 then & 7/03 & 77 through the mid lengths (where the 10 is) Mabe free hand ombré the ends quite irregular. Any advice would be much appreciated! X

I'm not a Wella expert but under normal circumstances if you're dropping from a 10 to a 7, I'd pre-pig it otherwise you risk it fading very quickly and going green.
