Highlift tint advice please

I've just taken on a new client who had been using box colours for years,she's natural base of a 6,but has good inch natural regrowth then a mid band of box colour then level 10 ends,I'm thinking pre lightener in foils then flooding through 12/89 12% if I paint that over the mid band will it lift or am I best to lift the band with blondor and 4x pastel first?

Is bleach pastel best to lift the mid band or 12/89 stretched down lift it ok?x

I think the 12/89 inbetween the foils will probs match up to the darker x
