Home client with the non existing cheques?

A few days ago I read a thread asking for advice about a long term client who now had her nails done at home but who's checques had bounced/not been posted. I'm just curious what happened and I can't find the post anymore. Did the op manage to sort it? I'd love tp know how she handled it as I am terrible in these situations, too much of a softie!! Xx
