Hot Mitts/Boots

Hi

I have just passed manicure and pedicure so will be doing these treatments on clients soon.

I am buying some parrafin wax but was wondering if you use the heated mitts/boots with this or just teh cotton ones wasnt sure if the heated boots would heat up the wax too much as it would have already been heated??

Sorry if thats the most stupid question!

I personally just pop them into towelling mitts/bootees.

I don't have heated mitts/bootess I only use the towelling ones but I know others do.

Hi Hayley

I have heated mitts and do use them with paraffin wax. I was taught after the dip pop them in the pastic disposable gloves then the towel mitts then the heated mitts...!!!! sounds hot doesn't it. It's ok though, but you could miss out the plastic gloves - but i do find this easier when removing the wax as you just throw thenm away and theres no mess.

I am a Bio Sculpture Tech too..passed last Monday, how did you get on ??
