Hot towel wetting

What is the best way to wet bulk towels before rolling and putting them in the warmers. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I’m going back 15 or so years ago when I worked in a salon we used to pop them in a sink of clean water infused with essential oils, rolled them up and put them in the warmer. Not sure if that’s the right thing or if it’s done this way now? X
