How do I remove gel from acrylics?

I've been asked to remove opi gels from acrylics but can I use acetone? How do I remove gels without damaging acrylics? Thanks

Easy peas, just buff it off, no need for acetone

Is a buffing file hard enough to break the surface? I file it of and sometimes its quite stubborn?... Thank in advance

Sorry to jump in! No you would need a low grit file. I tried with a natural nail file the other day and all I got was friction burns lol xx

Yeah I use low gritt, buffing wouldn't work...... Just asked sometimes I get confused bout English explanations
