I have had two pedicure clients ask me now if there is a safe amount of time that gel polish should be removed by. We all know how long normal polish can hang onto toes so I feel people often have gel polish done for events and simply just leave it to grow out.
How long should it be on the nail before it really should come off? I just saw an article that Doug Schoon had commented on saying that the white marks (in a photo) on the clients nails are from leaving (normal) polish on too long and that the longer it is on, the harder is it to remove and when it naturally flakes off, can take some of the nail?
I would like to be able to tell clients at each appt how long is safe before removal is highly advised.
