How much should I be charging per day for nail station rent?! should this include advertising etc or should I expect someone to pay towards that additionally?!

I guess it varies per area but some general feedback would be great!

Look at it this way .... you are renting 8 square feet of space in your salon. What you provide in the way of advertising and amenities such as coffee, towels, laundering, electricity, telephone, reception is up to you and the renter to discuss.

The rent of this small space depends on what type of salon you have. Top end salon, middle of the road, low end.

No one can tell you what you should charge unless they know what you will be providing and where you will be providing it..

If you want your renter to stay and not feel 'used' or taken advantage of, and to have a 'happy ship' then you will be fair and not over charge or expect too much for such a small space. You and the salon aren't just giving, you will also GET in other less obvious ways; you will benefit form increased clientèle, cross promotion and selling and a lively buoyant atmosphere. Being realistic and fair with rent helps everyone to be content.
