Hi all - first post here.

I'm a newly trained nail tech in acrylics (certified online through NSI Academy). One of the main issues i am running into is that my acrylics are either too thin (hand models come back with chipped nails), or they are too thick (hand models have trouble picking things up from the floor).

If anyone wouldn't mind sharing photos of how thick their nails are (gel or acrylic), that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Emily

General rule of thumb is the enhancement should be approximately the thickness of a credit card at the free edge and two credit cards at the stress apex

That's a great tip! I'm going to follow this guideline for my upcoming models! Thanks so much :)
