Hi after applying acrylic for the first time i realise that the liquid and powder have mixed in the bottom of my dappen dish and hardened. How do you remove this from the botton and clean glass dappen???

Add some acetone to the dish. Let it sit about 15-20 minutes... Or until it loosens from the sides... And then slide it out with a paper towel. Do not pour the acetone down the drain when you're finished. Pour it on the paper towel so it can evaporate.

I usually clean my dappen dishes with acetone, personally. Hth!!

Thanks for the reply will give it a go.

hi lol...i have about 10 dapen dises and understand where your coming from, basically i use scaulding hot water and wash in my sink with gloves on obviuosly and pick the sides of the acrylic up... as the dapen dish is a shiny surface the acrylic wont adhere to it well so it works well, and then steralise it for next day
people will probably have something to say lol...but its alot easier and cost effective than acetone x
