I recently done similar to this with Archie Lloyds extensions. I will post a picture, I used her root colour of extensions and then blended them in, with similar lighter colours in your photo.this client didn't want Her hair coloured either. To prevent a stripy look I used two shade from her root colour which was a 6 and then a 12 as well as a blonde.
