Hi,
I am currently a beauty therapist, and i am trained in the biosculpture gel. My main interest is nails and i really want to specialise in this as a job from now on, rather than beauty. I have been doing the gel for about 5 months, and just wondered whether anyone could give me any advice on getting started. is it worth me doing a creative acrylic course for example so i have more qualifications behind me in nails when i apply for jobs? etc?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I personally would do as much training as possible. You learn so much more using different systems and from different manufacturers. This will give you more confidence too.

A foundation course in L&P would be to your advantage, as you wont be turning people away. Also if you do 2 systems and another person wanting the job does one your be more favorable. But you have to remember once the course is finished it doesn't mean you will be able to to prefect nails, this will come from practicing.

Go for it, My aim for next year is to do my masters so i will be practicing loads over Christmas. I love training and learning anything new.
