Hi please can some help/advise me

I have just started using IBD gel polish and for some reason my colours are always looking very light and have to apply about 4 coats for it to look darkish how it should.

Hi Laura, what colours specifically? Some of the ibd range are translucent and you probably won't get full coverage.
Make sure you shake & roll the bottle for a good 30 seconds as well. JGP is thinned out clear gel with pigment added for the colour. This settles in the bottle hence the reason to shake & roll it before use. I generally do three thin coats of the colour, curing in between each for secs in a LED lamp.
