If the lifting happens right after applying acrylic is the acrylic going to stay on?

:green:What are your thoughts on this?

Short answer: Nope. :)

But it all depends on how much lifting there was right away. Did one of the corners at the free edge pull away just as you were filing? The enhancement will probably still be on when the client comes back (although there might be something green growing underneath!).

But if you're seeing lifting that soon, it's time to take a look at your prep, dahling! What are your prep steps?

It is very unlikely to stay on if there is lifting straight the way, also best to get it sorted asap as open greenies.

Check you prep, also your ratio.

For the lifting to happen straight away there has got to be some problem that needs to be sorted out, so I wouldnt risk waiting to see if it would all life but sort the problem out straight away. Like pippdoodle said all kinds of things could happen if it was left.

How often is this happening?

Is it happening with all your clients or just one?

I have only briefly worked with L&P, but could it be that your mix ratio is incorrect? I am, however, more inclined to think it is your prep if the lifting occurs straight away.

As already mentioned, fix the problem immediately rather than send the client away with any lifting. Moisture in the lifted areas will result in bacterial growth which causes greenies.
