I'm New and Confused

Hi everyone..i'm a newbie,about to begin my nail technician course,and i would love some recommendations on which systems are the best,i have some experience with gel nails,i do my friends and my own.(been using rio to start with but now moved onto Mercia gel,salonsystem,star nails...am i on the right path???
I'm looking for acrylic info,nail art,UV lamp and gel info please...

I start with my local college next month and altho they have told me the acrylic kit alone would be £120, i can probably use some of my items from my gel nail system,
I have been buying in things from my local sally store,as i hope to get familiar with a reliable system from the start :0)
I really need a good lamp, daylight company came up in conversation but i trust the girls on here more so am looking for all suggestions x
