:green: Hey,
I'm Jaiah, I'm 17 and well I have just started my training at the Institute of Electrolysis and beauty therapy, I'm enjoying it a lot.:)

I'm finding it hard to keep up with the theory part of things though, as I'm a practical kind of person. :wink2:

I'm desperately needing some advice to keep up with the play in theory class, Can any one help? :|

Gosh I would much appreciate it. xx

the only advice i can give , is to try your best to keep on top of your assignments , coz if you dont you will be like a mad person at the end of yr ! belieive me am talking from experience here :green:

are you struggling with the A&P side if the theory ?? if so i got an extra little bok that i wrote all the main stuff in , bones in hands , feet, face etc... muscles , then i just kept reading it, then it left me free to try remeber the other stuff like endocrine system  uurgh hated doing that one , lol

hope this helps a bit xxxx

Cant agree with that more! Try not to miss even one theory lesson, i remember once at college i did, & when i went back i was like, huh? where did all this come from?! Id missed loads! And like already said, try and do assignments & stuff while its all fresh in your mind! If your having any particular problems with something im sure your tutor will be happy to help you x x

hi there jaiah,
the truth is, no one can escape the theory, I too am pracitcal and find theory boring, however, I soldiered on and did well. I just accepted that there was nothing I could do and ended up enjoying and absorbing what I learnt. In my second year, I found that the theory ncomplemented the practical and was glad that I enjoyed the theory afterall. So chin up and I hope you enjoy the course as much as I did.
