Indian head massage advice

Hi guys, i was hoping you could help me, can you give indian head massage to some one who is breast feeding?

Hi Nicks83,

I don't think that breastfeeding would be contra-indicated, in fact I would have though IHM would be great for a new mother! I haven't got my course notes on me to check, but as long as you do a full consultation - check on blood pressure, medication etc I'm sure it would be fine. Maybe ask your client to check with her midwife just to be extra safe!

Hi Siana! Thank you for your advice, i couldn't see contra indications in my text books or course notes! Will def advise my friend to check with her midwife just to be sure. Better safe than sorry! :hug:
