Industrial Estates

Does anyone rent space on industrial estates or have a unit they have converted for salon purposes?
I am sure I read about someone who had done this but have done a search and cannot find anything.
Am curious to know if you can do it and what the pro's and con's may be.

i have a friend who does and she getting on really well,lower rent and that. she has built up a good clientele. hth

Theres a lady who rents a salon near an industrial estate near me. It puts me off cos it has a car wash right outside it. Not very peaceful I'd say but it must bring in customers! Stop for eyebrows then get car washed. Two jobs at once!
