I think it's a good idea just to call it maintenance every 2-3 weeks and you then decide what to do when you see client, keep it one price no matter what you do, and also good idea to bump prices up if they leave it any longer, should encourage them to come back on a regular basis.
What happens if they turn up and you really think they need a soak off and new set and they haven't planned to spend the extra, and if you are fairly new like me could mean extra time as well? I guess it would always be wise to warn them that this may happen, or perhaps ring them before they are due to check on the state of their nails? What state determines soak off and start again?
