What would be the reason for a client getting an ingrown fingernail due to someone changing shape of biab nail from square to almond? Anyone have this happen before? Thank you

Never heard of an ingrowing finger nail, however, unlike to have anything to do with a change of product. A change of shape may have caused the tech to file too deeply into the sidewall and caused soreness or pain.

I'd want to see a picture to understand more

Yes this has been happening to me too the past few months. Something I’ve not previously experienced and started to wonder if it might be linked to biab. I now think it may actually be linked to the almond shape of the nails and possibly being filed too much on the sides. As it happened now a few times I’m going to mention it at my next appointment.
