I read somewhere that Epsom salts is good for ingrown hairs, can anyone shed any light on this. How to use etc...

Well they are very alkali so kind of exfoliate the skin which is the thing to do with ingrowns as well as moisturising.
Light scrubbing and moisturising is the best thing, if you are really prone sometimes nothing works.
Sometimes its even down to the therapist and it helps to change them.
