I hoped that by deleting the App it said it will delete all your data, so I hope that's enough!

This is incorrect. You have to go on to Instagram website to close any accounts

Just realised this myself.

Heard that too, apparantly they said that the wording on t&c was confusing but selling wasn't their intention
